Helping people, networks and institutions work together.

My path has moved across different places and forms of practice, always grounded in context, people and purpose. In Colombia, I worked across rural development, conservation, peacebuilding and public policy; in Québec, that practice has expanded into multilingual nonprofit and institutional communications.
The thread has stayed the same: understand the context, make complex knowledge accessible, and communicate in ways that centre the people and communities behind the work.

Making information and institutions easier to understand and reach.
Connecting communication with participation, work and local economies.
Helping language, culture, place and collective knowledge remain present in public life.

My career began in visual production and participatory research, then expanded into grant writing, project development, investigative journalism, editorial production and communications leadership.
That mix continues to shape how I work today. I approach communications through research, community engagement, project development and production—not only through the final written product.
My process is simple: listen first, understand the context, and then find the right form for the message.
Across different roles and places, my practice has moved comfortably between research, project communications, editorial production and engagement, connecting complex ideas with the people and audiences they need to reach.
Seeing the system around the communication, not only the output.
Reporting, documentary, editorial and public narrative.
Working across editorial design, visual identity, digital content and multimedia production.
Spanish, English and French across different cultural and institutional contexts.
Deciding what matters, what needs evidence and what should be left out.
Moving from strategy into timelines, teams, production, implementation and delivery.
A record of work built alongside communities, organizations and institutions.
Public narratives. Strategic communications. Editorial production. Brand identity.
Reporting taught me critical thinking, to begin with questions, stay close to the people involved in the stories, fact-check, and pay attention to what is missing from the official version of a story.
Today that practice appears in different forms.
Independent communications work across small organizations and collaborative projects, presented at the scale the evidence supports.
I work across strategic communications, editorial production, research translation, documentary storytelling and project leadership.
